Tim Chambers, the owner of WB Chambers Farms in Kent, emphasized the difficulties caused by Brexit-related border delays. He mentioned that he had to make the tough decision to abandon 300 tons of strawberries in the fields to spoil. Chambers explained, "There was demand for them, but we were unable to transport the fruit quickly enough."
