With a decrease in turnover of four percent compared to the same month last year, the category is experiencing stronger losses than the overall market and than what the negative calendar effect (-2.2%) would have expected, as stated in the GfK Consumer Index. Despite a nearly stable price level, this is leading to a decline in sales.
