Irish Minister for Agriculture Martin Heydon has announced a €2 million (US$2.3 million) fuel support scheme for specialist fruit and vegetable growers. The scheme will benefit growers producing tomatoes, cucumbers, mushrooms, strawberries, and chillies, sectors identified by the Minister as in need of support.
