The wild blueberry industry in New Brunswick has reported that production losses in 2025 are greater than what the province's new compensation plan can cover. A report prepared for NB Blueberries by consulting firm Stiletto indicates that growers have lost over 43 million pounds, resulting in industry losses totaling US$21.6 million.
