Lower Saxony: More bush berries from organic production

The cultivated blueberry remained the most commonly grown shrub berry species, with the cultivation area accounting for around 85% of the total shrub berry cultivation area in Lower Saxony. In the past year, 10,027 tons were harvested on 2,249 hectares, which was a slight increase compared to the previous year (9,923 tons).
