The labor-intensive work of hand-harvesting delicate blackberries is necessary, but the advancement of technology by scientists at Mississippi State University could potentially automate this tedious process. While many agricultural crops are harvested efficiently by machines, Assistant Professor Xin Zhang from MSU is working on developing advanced technologies to improve the harvesting of blackberries.
