According to the GfK household panel, each private household consumed a total of 4.13 kg of sweet fruits, with 2.09 kg, or around 51%, coming from German cultivation. This is also good for the climate, as a high level of self-sufficiency and fewer imports are an active contribution to sustainability and environmental protection.
