The polski sezon na jagody już miał trudny start w tym roku z powodu warunków pogodowych, a na domiar złego kilka regionów uprawowych doświadczyło intensywnych opadów deszczu w zeszły weekend. "Tuż przed rozpoczęciem intensywnego zbioru odmiany Duke spadło dużo deszczu. Skutkiem tego było 10–15% strat w jagodach odmiany Duke.
