Peru: Export of strawberries increases significantly

According to Fresh Fruit Peru, the country exported 20,338 tonnes of strawberries worth 34 million US dollars between January and September, an increase of 43% in volume and 26% in value compared to the same period last year. The increase was achieved despite the loss of acreage due to Cyclone Yacu and El Niño.
