Raspberries: Protected cultivation is being expanded

In the past year, 76% of the harvested raspberries came from protected cultivation. In 2015, the share was only 30%. In the linear trend from 2015 to 2024, the area under protected cultivation in Germany has been growing annually by 31 hectares or just under 9%. This has led to an increase in the production of raspberries.
