Russian fruit and berry self-sufficiency is hindered by import dumping
Russian efforts to achieve 60% domestic fruit and vegetable production are thwarted by import dumping, preventing the country from ensuring food security. Despite government support, only 47% of products on Russian shelves last year were of local origin, according to Deputy Minister of Agriculture Andrey Razin, speaking at a roundtable in the Federation Council on December 12.
