In the case of field beans, the cultivation area was expanded by 28% to 15,100 hectares. The cultivation of root vegetables, including potatoes, also saw an increase of nearly five percent to 17,600 hectares. In addition, around 8,700 hectares of horticultural products, such as fruits and vegetables, were grown on the arable land.
