This would be the lowest harvest volume since 1995 (68,800 tons). The current estimated strawberry harvest in open fields is thus 24% below the already low strawberry harvest of 2023 of 92,700 tons and 34% below the average harvest volume in open fields for the years 2018 to 2023 of 106,600 tons.
