Switzerland: Strawberry season is open
The dull, wet spring weather has delayed the start of the strawberry season by seven days. Over the next few weeks, Swiss producers will harvest more than 1,000 t of the sweet fruit each week, the Swiss Fruit Association announced. A good harvest of more than 7,100 t is expected, it said.
