VSSE: Early start to the strawberry season - probably mid-April

According to the Verband Süddeutscher Spargel- und Erdbeeranbauer e.V. (VSSE), the strawberry harvest can gradually start in the tunnels in southern Germany around 15 April. In the cooler regions of Germany, the strawberry season starts around 14 days later.
