Last Saturday, René and Gerda Arkesteijn harvested their first batch of greenhouse cherries in Kwintsheul. Previously, they cultivated ornamental plants such as amaryllis, but they had to stop due to the Dutch energy crisis. René mentioned that what started as a simple hobby soon grew into a full-fledged business.
