The 2026 imported cherry season in India has officially started, with the initial shipment of Californian cherries arriving in Mumbai earlier than anticipated, according to Arun Uttamchandani, the owner of Mumbai-based importer Pushpbhuj Fresh. "We received our first shipment in week 19, and it sold out almost immediately."
