Tomra improves cherry processing
Benedetta Ricci Iamino, Cherry Category Manager at TOMRA Food explains to Fruit Today magazine how, thanks to their machinery, larger volumes of cherries can be processed in the same period of time, without affecting quality.
When the cherries arrive at the processing plant, TOMRA Food's solutions start with the loading systems at the beginning of the processing process.
"Fruit Today" magazine is a valuable source of information for the fresh produce industry. Its aim is to connect fruit producers from Southern Europe with European import and distribution channels. The articles cover the entire value chain of the fruit and vegetable trade, as well as companies operating in the industry. The magazine has a yearly print run of 5,000 copies, distributed in countries such as Spain, Germany, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Eastern Europe, Chile, and Peru. It is distributed through both direct subscriptions and free distribution at major European trade fairs.
