Turkey: Cherry exports plummet

Approximately 300,000 tons are attributed to sweet cherries and 100,000 tons to sour cherries. This information comes from a recent report by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA). According to the report, the main growing areas are Izmir (sweet cherries) and Afyonkarahisar (sour cherries).
