Egypt exported 135,000 tons of fresh produce between May 16 and May 22, 2026, as reported in the 19th weekly report by the National Food Safety Authority for that year. These exports were part of a total of 5,440 food consignments sent by 1,484 exporting companies to 191 countries. Among these exports, fruit accounted for 88,000 tons.
