Fall in US fresh fruit exports in 2022
Fresh fruit exports dropped by 8% in value and 13% in volume, while fresh vegetable exports were up by 4% in value, but down by 10% in volume, compared to 2021.
Total US fresh produce exports were worth $6.89 billion in 2022, down 4% from 2021 and unchanged from 2020. Total volume was 4.37 million tons, down 12% from 2021 and down 11% from 2020.
