ALDI prevents the wastage of over 9,200 tons of food.
ALDI managed to save more than 9,264 tons of food in 2024 through donations to social entities and discounts on products close to their expiration date. The company is thus reinforcing its fight against waste.
"Fruit Today" magazine is a valuable source of information for the fresh produce industry. Its aim is to connect fruit producers from Southern Europe with European import and distribution channels. The articles cover the entire value chain of the fruit and vegetable trade, as well as companies operating in the industry. The magazine has a yearly print run of 5,000 copies, distributed in countries such as Spain, Germany, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Eastern Europe, Chile, and Peru. It is distributed through both direct subscriptions and free distribution at major European trade fairs.
