Fresh fruit difficulties hold back exports
The decrease in the volumes of fresh fruit and vegetables exported continues according to data released by Fruitimprese: minus 2.2% in quantity in the first nine months of the year even if in value there was a +5.4%. The trade balance is even worse, with a surplus of 141 million Euros (-51.6% compared to the 2022 figure). In volume, imports exceed exports by 425,753 tonnes. Exports: good
