Mango industry thrives as summer approaches
The National Mango Board has engaged its growers, importers and retailers to initiate key marketing strategies to boost sales of the super-fruit ahead of National Mango Month in June, and National Mango Day on 22 July. Traditionally, June and July are the peak mango volume months, however, the unprecedented figures further amplify
the mango's popularity.
"Fruit Today" magazine is a valuable source of information for the fresh produce industry. Its aim is to connect fruit producers from Southern Europe with European import and distribution channels. The articles cover the entire value chain of the fruit and vegetable trade, as well as companies operating in the industry. The magazine has a yearly print run of 5,000 copies, distributed in countries such as Spain, Germany, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Eastern Europe, Chile, and Peru. It is distributed through both direct subscriptions and free distribution at major European trade fairs.
