This is the highest per capita consumption of potatoes in twelve years, as shown by preliminary figures from the Federal Information Center for Agriculture (BZL). Compared to the previous year, the calculated consumption of fresh eating potatoes increased by 8.4 kg per person to 25.5 kg.
