Oranges are the citrus category where Egypt is becoming a pharaonic powerhouse. This year it will be around 3.7 million tonnes, a figure that is 5% higher than last year. However, the 'soft citrus' category is also making its mark. This year's figure will be 1.3 million tonnes, with double-digit growth.
