Tomato production for fresh consumption in the EU has fallen from 7.1 million tonnes in 2018 to 6.2 million tonnes in 2022, down 13%, according to data published by the European Commission in the "Dashboard Tomatoes", which compiles general information on the evolution of the market for this vegetable in the EU. The figures provided by the EC are based on the
