Spanish imports of fresh fruit and vegetables in January 2023 stood at 309,569 tonnes, 13% more than in the same month of the previous year, of which 55% came from the EU and the remaining 45% were from outside the EU, according to data from the Customs and Excise Department of the Tax Agency, processed by FEPEX.

"Fruit Today" magazine is a valuable source of information for the fresh produce industry. Its aim is to connect fruit producers from Southern Europe with European import and distribution channels. The articles cover the entire value chain of the fruit and vegetable trade, as well as companies operating in the industry. The magazine has a yearly print run of 5,000 copies, distributed in countries such as Spain, Germany, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Eastern Europe, Chile, and Peru. It is distributed through both direct subscriptions and free distribution at major European trade fairs.
