Prices for several varieties of apples and pears in the UK decreased this week, while the prices of soft fruits remained relatively stable, as indicated by the most recent market data. Egremont Russet apples saw the biggest decline, dropping by 18% to £1.19/kg from £1.46/kg last week. Braeburn prices also fell by 5%.
