Brandenburg: Weather-related losses in the apple harvest

Late frost, a long period of drought, and heavy rainfall are once again resulting in a rather moderate yield this year. According to the Office for Statistics Berlin-Brandenburg, the current estimate for the apple harvest is around 9,400 tons. Only 4,200 tons were harvested last year.
