Heavy rains over Langkloof have caused no immediate damage.

The most recent cut-off low weather system that moved across South Africa left behind between 100mm and around 200mm of rain over two days in the Langkloof region. Fortunately, apart from some gullies formed on slopes, no damage has been reported from the apple and pear orchards. More rain is predicted for next week.
