Imports of food and beverages are increasing while exports are decreasing in the EU.
The report, which includes forecasts for certain imports of fruits and vegetables between January-May 2024, shows a 3.76% growth in fruits and vegetables, specifically tomatoes, peaches and nectarines, oranges, and apples. It explains that imports will increase in the case of the first three mentioned.
