In Lower Saxony's areas, the apple berry, originating from North America, grows very well, as reported by the Landvolk Pressedienst. "This year, we are four weeks ahead of schedule compared to usual, so the harvest is nearly completed," says Lars Grossmann, managing director of Heide-Aronia.
