The Municipality of Resen in Macedonia has received around 2,400 requests for compensation due to damage to agricultural plantations, especially impacting apple crops. This has had a significant effect, considering that apples make up 60% of Macedonia's total fruit crop. The damage was caused by a spring frost in April.
