The 2024 fruit harvest in the EU decreased by 2% to 24.3 million tons, as reported by Eurostat. Italy, Spain, and Poland were responsible for 57% of the total fruit production in the bloc. In 2024, Poland harvested 4.1 million tons of fruit, with apples making up more than three-quarters of the total production.
