Poor prospects for Hungary's apple harvest

Despite a significant decrease in the cultivated area, Hungary's production potential in a good season would be around 500,000 tons, including approximately 120,000 to 130,000 tons of dessert apples and 370,000 to 380,000 tons of industrial apples (of which 80% to 90% are juice apples for concentrate production).
