Production of frozen foods and juices after the third quarter of 2024.

In the first three quarters of 2024, Poland produced 360 thousand tons of frozen vegetables compared to 340 thousand tons in the same period of 2023. This represents a year-on-year growth of 6.0 percent in this category.

As for the production of frozen fruits (including nuts), according to GUS data, it amounted to 219 thousand tons in the first three quarters of 2024, compared to 254 thousand tons in the same period of 2023. This results in a year-on-year decrease of 13.7 percent.

Regarding fruit and vegetable juices, in the first three quarters of 2024, Poland produced 6822 thousand hectoliters compared to 6788 thousand hectoliters in the same period of 2023. This shows a year-on-year growth of 0.5 percent.

Within this category, two subcategories were specified:

Apple juice - the production in the first three quarters of 2024 was 3348 thousand hectoliters, 13.4 percent higher year-on-year,

Tomato juice - the production in the first three quarters of 2024 was 329 thousand hectoliters, a significant decrease of 14.2 percent year-on-year.

The GUS report also includes production of pickled vegetables, which in the discussed period of 2024 amounted to 30,035 tons, showing an increase of 5.1 percent compared to the production level in the same period of 2023, which was 35,238 tons.
