Researchers from the Agricultural Research Service (ARS) in East Lansing, MI, in collaboration with Michigan State University, have developed a new dual-arm harvesting robot designed to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of fruit harvesting. The new robot showed a 34% increase in harvesting efficiency compared to the single-arm version.
