Tesco remained the largest buyer of British apples in May 2026, procuring over 5,000 tons from BAPL growers. Lidl and Aldi followed, purchasing around 3,300 tons and 3,200 tons respectively, while Sainsbury's bought approximately 2,700 tons. Asda rounded out the top five with about 1,600 tons.
