Will the price of gasoline increase in the next 3 weeks?

It is basically predetermined that dessert apples of the Gala variety (especially its striped sports) will become more expensive in the Polish wholesale market this season. But what leads to the assertion that they may significantly increase in price within the next three weeks? The main premise is technical in nature, but it is based on solid foundations.

It concerns the relationship between the current price and the price from last year. Last year, the average price of Gala apples increased after November 18th. Apples with a caliber of 70+ increased by 20 percent from 2.00 PLN/kg to 2.40 PLN/kg. Therefore, if the current price advantage over previous years is to be maintained, in a similar period of the current season, i.e., within the next three weeks, current prices should increase by at least 15 groszy per kilogram.

As mentioned earlier, this technical observation of the relationship between current and past prices has a solid basis in the demand-supply ratio of Gala apples. This variety is already attracting interest in exports, while its supply is relatively limited. These are strong reasons to believe that prices in the 2024/2025 season will maintain an advantage over those of previous years, at least until April.
