Fruit and vegetable consumption falls by 3.6% in the first months of 2023
The decline in fruit and vegetable consumption has been cushioned in 2023, according to data presented by NIQ at the 25th AECOC Fruit and Vegetable Congress. Between January and April, the volume of sales of these products fell by 3.6%, compared to the 4.3% drop recorded in 2022, in a markedly inflationary scenario.

"Fruit Today" magazine is a valuable source of information for the fresh produce industry. Its aim is to connect fruit producers from Southern Europe with European import and distribution channels. The articles cover the entire value chain of the fruit and vegetable trade, as well as companies operating in the industry. The magazine has a yearly print run of 5,000 copies, distributed in countries such as Spain, Germany, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Eastern Europe, Chile, and Peru. It is distributed through both direct subscriptions and free distribution at major European trade fairs.
