Fruit flies in space: Chinese astronauts conduct unique experiment

The astronauts aboard China's Shenzhou 19 spacecraft are currently conducting a pioneering experiment on the Tiangong space station. They are studying 15 adult fruit flies and 40 pupae to investigate the impact of microgravity and sub-magnetic fields on the insects' behavior, growth, and biological rhythms.
