The Fruit and Vegetable Growers of Canada (FVGC) recently presented their case before the Senate Standing Committee on Banking, Commerce and the Economy, urging for the swift approval of Bill C-280, also known as the Financial Protection for Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Growers Act. FVGC was supported in their advocacy efforts by the Canadian Produce Association.
