Horticultural and fruit imports continue to grow in the first quarter.
The import of vegetables amounted to 622,501 tons, representing a 7% year-on-year increase, with a total value of 485.440 billion euros, up 17%, according to data from the Department of Customs and Special Taxes, processed by FEPEX, made public.

"Fruit Today" magazine is a valuable source of information for the fresh produce industry. Its aim is to connect fruit producers from Southern Europe with European import and distribution channels. The articles cover the entire value chain of the fruit and vegetable trade, as well as companies operating in the industry. The magazine has a yearly print run of 5,000 copies, distributed in countries such as Spain, Germany, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Eastern Europe, Chile, and Peru. It is distributed through both direct subscriptions and free distribution at major European trade fairs.
