Horticultural and fruit imports from the EU increased by 12%.
French horticultural imports, the main supplier to the Spanish market for fruits and vegetables, rose by 20% up to November 2024 compared to the same period in 2023, reaching 989,263 tons. Portugal also saw a 20% growth, with 379,151 tons, ranking third.
"Fruit Today" magazine is a valuable source of information for the fresh produce industry. Its aim is to connect fruit producers from Southern Europe with European import and distribution channels. The articles cover the entire value chain of the fruit and vegetable trade, as well as companies operating in the industry. The magazine has a yearly print run of 5,000 copies, distributed in countries such as Spain, Germany, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Eastern Europe, Chile, and Peru. It is distributed through both direct subscriptions and free distribution at major European trade fairs.
