Household consumption of fresh f&h falls below pre-pandemic levels
Household consumption of fresh fruit and vegetables continues to fall, by 12.5% until November 2022, totalling 6.4 billion kilos, which is the latest public data from the MAPA Food Consumption Panel, compared with the same months in 2021. Most fruit and vegetables are falling to pre-pandemic levels and per capita consumption stands at 150.12 kilos.
"Fruit Today" magazine is a valuable source of information for the fresh produce industry. Its aim is to connect fruit producers from Southern Europe with European import and distribution channels. The articles cover the entire value chain of the fruit and vegetable trade, as well as companies operating in the industry. The magazine has a yearly print run of 5,000 copies, distributed in countries such as Spain, Germany, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Eastern Europe, Chile, and Peru. It is distributed through both direct subscriptions and free distribution at major European trade fairs.
