The International Fresh Produce Association A-NZ (IFPA A-NZ) supports a nationwide initiative to ban plastic non-compostable Price Look-Up code (PLU) produce stickers. However, they are advocating for compostable adhesive to be exempted from South Australia's proposed ban until growers, packers, and retailers are ready to transition.
