With the Dasara festivities approaching its peak with Ayudha puja and Vijayadashami, the prices of flowers and fruits in Bengaluru have dramatically increased. Jasmine is now being sold at Rs 1,200 per kg and Kanakambara (Crossandra) at Rs 1,500 per kg, up from Rs 400 per kg and Rs 350 per kg, respectively.
