The laborious task of applying budbreak chemicals to every node expected to start flowering at the end of this month has been completed. Each kiwi plant has been pruned to approximately 32 canes of 2.5 meters in length, with nodes spaced every 75mm to 100mm. Now, farmer Danie Meyer of Nooyenskopje says that the task is done.
