New Zealand’s Employment Relations Authority (ERA) has stated that it will maintain a close collaboration with kiwifruit exporter Zespri to eliminate unethical employment practices. This comes after a labor provider to the kiwifruit industry in the Bay of Plenty was discovered to have underpaid three employees over an extended period.
